Going on a Building Trip in 2024?

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

What Will We Do?
Build a new home for a family in need alongside the Casas por Cristo ministry.
Demonstrate the character of Jesus by serving and loving people.

Don’t Worry
This trip is for both men and women of any age
No Spanish is required
No carpentry skill is required
No experience is required

Don’t Leave Home Without It (Essentials)
Must possess a valid U.S. Passport >> apply for one immediately if you don’t already have this!
If the trip you've chosen will require proof of vaccination, we will note that in the trip details as countries adjust their travel policies.

Casas Por Cristo exists to open the door for local pastors and churches to share the love of Jesus Christ by serving.

Build
"We build homes for families that need to be reminded that Jesus loves them. We build relationships between volunteers, families, and pastors that would otherwise never have met. We strive to build the Kingdom of God by partnering with other local churches and ministries. We strive to build opportunities for growth by creating structured experiences that cause our volunteers to be stretched beyond their comfort zones."
Serve
"Through this building process, God allows us to interact with our teams, local families, pastors, churches, vendors, and fellow missionaries. We do not want to take any of these interactions for granted. We believe that these are unique opportunities presented to us by God to serve each other."

Making ministry happen through funding

 Join us in prayer for the missionaries, construction crews, and the five families who will be given new homes. Our hope is that they would encounter Jesus and know how deeply they are loved.

OUR HISTORY WITH CASAS POR CRISTO

HOW WE GOT HERE

In 2019, we were able to fund the construction of two homes in Juarez, Mexico, alongside Casa Por Cristo.

In 2020, we exceeded our goal of $50k and raised $60,000, which funded the construction of FIVE homes,  supported a Casas missionary and the work his family is doing in the Dominican, and made it possible for more churches to partner with Casas. That's amazing!!

In 2021, we over doubled our goal of $50k and raised $120,000 to fund the construction of four homes and continue our support of Casas missionaries and trips.

In 2022, the generosity toward this mission continued and we were able to donate funds toward multiple home-builds in 2023 as an extension of our FOR Asheboro global ministry arm.

In 2023, we expanded our annual giving campaign to reach both global missions and domestic/local missions in Asheboro. The generosity we witnessed overwhelmed our goal and will make it possible for us to continue supporting teams in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Mexico, and The Dominican Republic

We look forward to seeing how God is able to use these funds throughout 2024 to expand global reach. 
In a town like Juarez, having a home that is safe, structurally sound, and connected to utilities is a big deal and we want to be FOR the families who are being handed the keys and learning about the character of Jesus through on-the-ground missionaries.

OUR GOAL

At the conclusion of the year, it's become a tradition for our church community to focus on local and global generosity.  Throughout the last 6 years, we've invited our community to give toward Casas por Cristo and we've continually been overwhelmed by the response, which has made a huge impact during the last few years when our team on the ground has felt the strain of limited resources and reduced international travel.

We look forward to seeing how God is able to use these funds throughout 2024 to expand Casas por Criso's reach into Guatemala and make it possible for us to be a part of what this ministry is doing.
