Thursday
Devotion:
When we truly embody the aspects of gathering, growing, giving, and going, we naturally become a beacon of hope in a broken world. The church on mission causes observers to pause and take notice—what is different about these people? The answer is simple yet profound: they reflect the love and grace of Jesus in everything they do. This is not a passive act; it's an active choice that requires intentionality and commitment. Living on mission means letting God's love flow through us, reaching out to those who are hurting, lost, and in need. Ask yourself how your life might look differently if you recognized every interaction as a potential reflection of Christ's mission.
Questions:
Do I actively observe opportunities to reflect God's love to others?
How do I respond when others take notice of my faith?
What commitments can I make to ensure I am living on mission daily?
Prayer and Reflection:
Pray for awareness of opportunities to share the gospel.
Ask God for courage to step outside of your comfort zone.
Reflect on what it means to be a light in your community.
